WINNER(S) OF DESIGN ME LEOTARD CHALLENGE!

Written by ClassForKids Team | May 1, 2019 1:45:00 PM

Recently, we were on the hunt for the UK’s best gymnastics leotard designer of 2019! The competition was open to all young wee gymnasts representing their gymnastics club, battling it out to come up with the most creative leotard of the year!

The best design would stand a chance to win a custom made leotard worth up to £300 by Ervy Sports Fashion and Elite Gymnastics! This leotard would also include shiny crystals by Swarovski. And not forgetting a £50 voucher for the winner to use on Elite Gymnastic's e-commerce website. What amazing prizes to be won!

Now now enough about that, let's get onto the winner! We’ve had so many incredibly entries so far and were very spoiled for choice, but after much consideration, deliberation and discussion with the teams from ClassForKids, Elite Gymnastics and Ervy Sports Fashion, we’ve come to vote for not one, but TWO stunning leotard designs (because we couldn’t choose between these two!).

SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, THE WINNERS OF THE ‘DESIGN ME’ LEOTARD CHALLENGE ARE 🥁🥁🥁 …

WINNIE HOARE

FROM CITY OF PLYMOUTH GYMNASTICS 🤸‍♀️

Winnie's design was the crowd favourite on social media and between all team ClassForKids and Ervy. It's colourful, playful and has an unique colour-blocking nautical meets superhero theme translated across the front and back of the leotard. And those sequins are just awesome! We can't wait to see this awesome design come to life! 🌈

AALEYAH

FROM SUTTONS SPORTS VILLAGE 🤸‍♀️

Aaleyah's design is the favourite of team Elite Gymnastics, and we definitely agree on this decision as her leotard is so elegant, graceful and very cool with the swan theme. The blue gradient tones definitely stand out and with sparkle from miles away!✨

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2 VERY CREATIVE GYMNASTS AND LEOTARD DESIGNERS! 👏👏👏

You two might just have a successful future in both gymnastics AND leotard designing! Don't forget us when you become world famous ok? 😉You've both won yourselves a set of custom made leotards each, based on the designs that you submitted that will be made by Ervy Sports Fashion! Your designs will include Swarovski crystals and will be worth up to £300! Wow! You've also won yourselves £50 vouchers to spend on Elite Gymnastics e-commerce website! Woohoo! 🎉

We realise though that there were many other amazing entries for the competition too, showcasing some very creative designs, so we’re presenting them with special mention awards for their submissions!

THE HONORARY MENTION AWARDS GO TO:

JOSHUA MILLS,
SWINDON SCHOOL OF GYMNASTICS 😎

6 year old Joshua is the only male gymnast and designer who submitted a design for the competition. You get a special mention for not being shy to celebrate your love for gymnastics! Also, your design was definitely ON FIRE! 🔥

CHLOE, GLENROTHES GYMNASTICS CLUB 🌺

Chloe's has won an honorary mention for having the best digital submission out of the bunch! A beautiful half-long sleeve leotard with pink flames and crystals! Looks amazing and is done very beautifully with her digital method of colouring! Well done 🤩

SOPHIE EVANS, GYMNASTICS: ATHENA SPORTS ACADEMY 🖍

Sophie is under the spotlight too for having the most number of submissions that were both beautiful and extremely neat out of the bunch! We loved her different versions of leotards and wanted to show her ideas off to the world. Maybe you should start a collection Sophie!

FREYA WATSON, AVONDALE ACRO GYMNASTICS & RECREATIONAL 💜

Freya gets a special mention because she designed a leotard as a tribute to her late father who unfortunately left the world early due to cancer. A beautiful tribute indeed and one that’s worth highlighting!
