UPDATED: 22nd September 2020.

Covid-19 guidelines continue to be updated on a regular basis and children’s activity providers may need to read through multiple to ensure they fully understand the requirements and recommendations their particular activity business and service offering falls under.

Providers will need to consider; number of children (and parents) allowed, ensuring venues are ‘Covid-Secure’, online bookings to facilitate track and trace needs, risk assessing venues being used, adapting activities to allow for less sharing of equipment or increasing chance of spreading virus, increased cleaning measures, adjusting timetable and sessions timings, changes to your terms and conditions, clear customer communication and any other provision to ensure a safe and positive return to running activities.

Along with the guidelines, we recommend activity providers contact and work with local authorities, venues, insurance providers and environmental health (where applicable).

It is also important to note that due to how the United Kingdom is governed, there may be different guidelines depending on where you are based.
